This displays the properties dialog for the selected clip :

_bm7

The name, window and URL of the clip can be edited here, as well as the comments.

Even if the clip did not come from the web, a URL can still be added which can then be launched later.

You can select a hotkey which can be used to have the clip copied to the clipboard.  It is also possible to specify that the text should be pasted into the active application or written straight into the active application when the hotkey is pressed.  Usually you will use the Paste option, but for applications that do not accept the standard CTRL-V key sequence, you can use the second option.  Another reason for using the second option is that the text is written into the application using the application's current font format, and sometimes you may want an item to take the default font - such as when you want to write something out to a fixed width, plain text email application, and you don't want to keep the item's format.  Image clips can only be pasted.

These last two options are very useful for items of text that you use often, and can save you a lot of time at the keyboard.
