Categories Pane
The left hand pane shows the category folders. The default category is identified by the open book icon. The default category is used to store incoming clips. When an item is copied to the clipboard ClipMagic runs a check on the rules that are set up. If the clip matches one of the rules it is moved into the appropriate category. If no rules match, the clip is moved into the default category. You can make any category the default category.
The following popup menu will appear when right clicking on an item in the category in the categories pane :
The first option allows you to set the highlighted category as the default category. The second option lets you see the category properties where you can configure the purge options. The other options allow a new category to be added (same as New Category), and the selected category to be renamed or deleted.
